Getting your bells on, it’s Folk Week in Broadstairs!
It turned out we had arrived during the busiest weekend of the summer as Broadstairs Folk Week was in full swing. It was Morris Dancers galore as the town resounded with the jingle of bells and thwacking sticks.

With glorious sunshine, Broadstairs was packed, the beach almost full to capacity as pink skin took to the water.
The atmosphere was fantastic as everywhere people enjoyed the traditional summer festival; ice creams, mini golf, music and laughter. It was England at its best and some things are best unchanged.
We enjoyed an afternoon of Morris dancing before setting off to Sandwich where we were staying for the night.
