To the Lanes!

Sunday saw us take to the lanes as we went ten pin bowling for the first time in quite a few years.

Having done my pilates assessment on Friday, my various muscles were incredibly sore (apparently I don’t use my abs) so bowling turned out to be more of a challenge than it should have been. We played three games and by the end my arm, my back and my abs were hurting. If I’m honest I’m not exactly a natural!

Still, it was great fun as we were with Big T’s sister and husband who are always up for a laugh.

After bowling we set off for an Indian Sunday lunch at Dishoom in King’s Cross, a contemporary Indian restaurant with a fabulous menu of deliciousness. 

The tastes and flavours were authentic and gave us a good warm up for our impending trip to Sri Lanka where apparently the food is incredibly spicy. Something to look forward to as we’re off in three weeks time!

On Monday I woke up aching from pilates and bowling, this exercise malarkey is not what it’s cracked up to be especially when cycling to and from work in the cold. I staggered around for a couple of days and then I made an appointment to see an osteopath.
